Climate Justice Ambassadors Wanted!

Earth Calling is happy to announce the confirmation of the first Plant-for-the-Planet Academy in Scotland. On the 12th of March Davidson’s Mains Primary School will host the event organised by the global children’s initiative Plant-for-the-Planet and Earth Calling. Interested children, age 9 to 12, will deal with the topics climate crisis, global citizenship and global justice and will plant trees together. The event is free and is recommended and awarded by UNESCO.

How to participate

Every school can send between three and five interested children who want to actively campaign for climate protection to the Academy. Ideally, these children will be accompanied by a teacher or parent. This person afterwards can support the newly trained Ambassadors with advice and encouragement.

For the Academy in Edinburgh there are still a couple of free spots. To register please visit http://www.plant-for-the-planet.org/en/academy/event. You can also find more details on the event there.
