outdoor classroom
This ‘Outdoor Classroom’ was set up initially in Davidson Mains Primary School with the assistance and support of Janice McInnes, the assistant head.
Our aims are to provide a practical, hands-on environmental experience twice a year to all pupils and classes in the school. This was seen as a fun and informative way to give pupils the chance to explore and develop informed attitudes towards the care and conservation of all living things. To demonstrate the seasonal changes the activities were carried twice, first in Oct/Nov and again in May/June.
