Our popular After School clubs offer a fun and engaging way to get kids outdoors and learning about their local environment. Our passionate and dedicated team run clubs all across Edinburgh using local wild spaces to bring kids to and use exciting activities and challenges to teach them about the wonderful wild of Edinburgh.

See the table below to find out when and where we run clubs. If you would like to enquire about space in a club please contact the relevant club leader for your child’s school by clicking their name.

Here are some of the things we get up to, but there are many more:

  • Life on the beach (This activity will be available to all schools but will involve buses, alternative pick up points etc. Details nearer the time).
  • Life in deadwood and leaf litter there’s so much going on under your feet.
  • River watch (as with life on the beach)…wellies and nets.
  • Tracks, trails and camouflage…are you prepared to get dirty?
  • Winter bird food…it’s messy but so important.
  • Woodland adventure…getting to know your woodland.
  • Bird or bat boxes… take them home and watch our flying friends.
  • Food for free.
  • Bushcraft skills (shelters, cordage and fire making).
  • Wildlife in the dark. Bats and moths, maybe a badger.
